When Ryan & Marie-Pierre decided to hire a wedding photographer, de Belle’s philosophy and approach seemed to be a perfect fit. The day started with tears of joy and emotions running high from the moment Marie-Pierre put on her dress, “I’m a crier” Marie-Pierre said to de Belle early on in the day, which was later witnessed as she walked down the aisle, and again in the evening dancing with her father, there was no shortage of tears and Kleenex.

The wedding took place on a beautiful sunny day in July at their family estate in Knowlton. Guests arrived in the afternoon for an intimate outdoor ceremony on the grounds, followed by an exciting bouquet toss off the second floor balcony of the house to the ladies anxiously awaiting down below. The guests then made their way to the cocktail around the pool overlooking the lake and eventually into the immaculately decorated tent for dinner, where chandeliers were hanging from above and fish were swimming in fish bowls on the tables. The tent was set up on the cusp of the water where everyone could enjoy a spectacular sunset, and then walk out on the dock under a starry sky with the lake illuminated by torches…..breathtaking!
