Real Wedding by 5ive15ifteen photo company

Spontaneity and the Four Seasons have always been at the core of Corey and Jen’s relationship. They met through mutual friends one December evening in the lobby bar of the Four Seasons in Toronto. They connected in a way that made them feel they were the only two in the room. Four years later, it only made sense for Corey to propose at the Four Seasons, this time in New York City.

In order to sweep her off her feet, Corey meticulously saw to every detail; then flew Jen out to Manhattan under the pretense of accompanying him on a business trip. She entered the room to find it aglow with candlelight, lush rose petals, and an elegant dinner prepared with accents from their travels together. Before dinner, Corey gently rested on one knee and asked Jen to take his hand in marriage over the breathtaking view of the New York City skyline. “We had dinner, called all of our family and friends and spent the next day shopping in NYC – just about the most wonderful weekend ever!” attests Jen.

Jen and Corey wanted every detail of their wedding to be meaningful and elegant. They booked the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto to commemorate their first date, and chose the month of December so that their guests could cozy up in the beautiful ballroom while winter swirled around outside. They designed their wedding around the theme ‘Winter Wonderland in Paris’. The ballroom was transformed into Parisian hotel chic where all the décor and details were designed by Church Street Flowers’ Creative Director William Fulghum. “William just knew exactly the look we were going for from our first meeting and was as excited about the event as we were,” Jen says.

A colour palette of ice blue and rich chocolate brown set the tone for the December nuptials. Jen chose a stunning dress from Monique L’Huillier, and decided that 5ive 15ifteen would be the only photo company to capture every detail of their wedding. Jen went so far as to ensure the photography team accompanied her to New York to document her dress fitting. “I felt it necessary to have 5ive15ifteen capture, as well as be a part of every special component leading up to our wedding. They knew just how to tell our story through their lenses,” Jen says.

The boutique photo studio is based out of Toronto, documenting nuptials throughout North America and parts of Europe. 5ive15ifteen is known for having the ability to capture every moment poetically. “We have entered into an era where contemporary photography has become the new renaissance. This generation of ‘I do-ers’, like Jen and Corey, embody a cool and stylized elegance,” according to artistic director Anthony Manieri of 5ive15ifteen photo company.

Now settled in at home from their honeymoon in Paris and the Maldives, Corey says that his new life with Jen is "picture perfect!"
